counting to the moon, 2018
a collective stop motion animation video created with the 5th grade primary school students of Moraitis School.
All E4 class students created this stop motion animation during the visual art class, inspired by school book images, using all historical and technical elements related to the process of making an animation
deeply studied during the previous visual art class lessons. They were guided to write a scenario based on the selected images, to prepare those images and to do the photo shooting using the school’s camera. Finally the 5th grade students specifically composed and produced the appropriate foley sounds for completing the animation.
Facilitator, direction, documentation photos, stop motion animation video and sound edit by Lea Petrou.
