menu for two, 2005

A culinary artwork, an interactive event by the MouSou* team (Maria Nymfiadi and Lea Petrou), Athens.

A five – plate dinner recipe was composed using the translated-into-ingredients members of our genealogical trees. On the 17th of June 2005, the drink and dessert were prepared and served to all visitors of a public coffee shop. Walkmans were handed out, with each of our fathers narrating our family stories on either side of the tape. Many thanks to all participants!

*Mou, Sou in Greek language are personal/possessive pronouns 1st and 2nd person singular,
translated to English Mou is me/my, Sou is you/your.
